Work
Going out to the barn to excercise Ares. Since he has had his abcesses we haven't been able to ride him but now that he is doing better we are starting to excercise him. I usually walk him up and down hills five to six times and then we take him in to the barn and do thrush treatment which is koppertox and turpentine that goes on the soles of his feet and hoof dressing or venitian turpentine on the actual hoof. We will not be able to take Ares to Manassas but we will continue to work him so he can go to Montpelier in August.

Bento Boxes!
I love bento boxes. I truely do. They are under 600 calories and are absolutely scrumptious. . . most of the time. :) well my daddy makes an awesome bento with chicken and green and red peppers and stuff. Bento boxes, other than having delicious food in them are pretty cute. Like you can get Hello Kitty ones and ones with owls or dragonflies or cats. yep! well i think you should give 'em a try because they are the best! :)

Hello Everyone!
Hello! I'm a Civil War reenactor with the 1st Virginia Cav., I have one horse named Ares but I don't ride him for reenacting. I am a dressage rider and a ballerina. This blog is mostly about Ares and his training for the cav. and my limited amout of sewing knowledge and dressage riding and pointe. Actually i practically know nothing about sewing so scratch that. :)
